Our vision on privacy

Protecting the personal data that we process is of great importance to us. We process personal data of our customers, potential customers with whom we have made or want to make contact, recipients of any newsletters, and all other persons who contact us. When processing personal data in the Netherlands, we are bound by the General Data Protection Regulation as of May 25, 2018. In this privacy policy, we explain how we protect your privacy and how we handle your personal data. What personal data do we process?

Personal data are data that tell something about you or data that can be associated with you. Anything that can be done with your personal data, such as collecting, storing, using, transmitting, or deleting your data, is called the "processing" of personal data. We process personal data that you provide to us yourself by, for example, creating an account on our website. These are contact details and other personal data. For example, your name, address, postal code, place of residence, telephone number, email address, company name, date of birth, and other information that is necessary for our services. These can also be personal data that we obtain from other sources, such as personal data from the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce, the Land Registry, and personal data that are available on public (business) websites. We can also receive personal data about you from counterparties.

For what purposes and on what basis do we process your personal data?

In order to carry out our activities properly, we need your personal data and we must process it as well. We process your personal data when it is necessary to perform the agreement in which you have instructed us or when creating an account on our website. In addition, your contact details are placed in our customer system and can be used – if you have given us permission – for sending newsletters, for example. Depending on whether you are a business, other personal data than your contact details may be necessary. We may also process your personal data when we have a legitimate interest and do not make an unreasonable infringement on your privacy.
